History

The history of the Foreman Foundation dates back to 1996, when Phillip Foreman created the Foundation in memory of his friend, John Bruno Jr., whose life was taken by melanoma cancer at the age of 27.


1996
The Foreman Foundation was established by Phillip Foreman.
1997
The first Golf Outing in Memory of John Bruno Jr. was held at Scotch Valley Country Club.
2000
The Foreman Foundation Melanoma Laboratory in Memory of John Bruno Jr. was established at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center College of Medicine
2011
In collaboration with the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, we launched the Melanoma and Skin Center. We reached our goal of over one million dollars for research at the Melanoma Center.
