| | | David A. DeGol | | Board President | | Partner | | DeGol Organization | | | | David chose to become a member of the Foreman Foundation Board of Directors primarily to educate the general public on the seriousness of this deadly disease. David experienced one of the most tangible rewards as part of the foundation a few years ago. At the annual golf outing, all attendees, including a friend of David’s, were asked to take a moment to read information regarding early warning signs of melanoma. Four months later, this friend detected one of the signs on his back. He had it tested and learned that it was indeed melanoma which was malignant. “The affected area was surgically removed and because of early detection, the doctor informed him that his life was saved. Certainly this has made all of my efforts more than worthwhile towards melanoma research.” | |
